Join us weekly as over 150 participants from more than 23 countries gather for a vibrant language exchange experience. Together, we’ll practice new languages and forge friendships over a casual drink. 🍻
At New To Melbourne, you'll immediately feel our welcoming community vibe. Our members are friendly and eager to assist newcomers, so bring a friend and immerse yourself in language practice! Our event is free and happens every Wednesday evening. Arrive by 6 PM to enjoy affordable food and drinks! 🍻🍟

Upon arrival, you’ll receive a badge indicating your native language and the languages you wish to learn. Wear it proudly—native language on the right, and the languages you’re learning on the left. Then, mingle and exchange languages!
What to Bring: A pen, paper, and lots of positive energy!
Age Group: 18+

We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help welcome newcomers to our community. In return, we’ll treat you to free beverages and pizza! If you’re new to the event, feel free to apply—many of our volunteers are first-timers as well!
