Join a vibrant community every week at our language exchange, where over 150 attendees from more than 23 countries gather to practice languages and forge new friendships over a drink.🍻
The welcoming atmosphere at New To Melbourne is undeniable; our members are friendly, supportive, and always eager to meet newcomers. Bring a friend along and immerse yourself in a fun language practice session! Our exchange happens every Wednesday evening, with affordable food and drinks available if you arrive by 6 PM. 🍻🍟

Upon arrival, you’ll receive a badge displaying your native language and the languages you wish to learn. Wear it proudly—native language on the right and target languages on the left. Then, start mingling and exchanging languages!
What to bring: Your enthusiasm, a pen, and some paper!
Age Requirement: 18+

===== FREE BEER AND PIZZA FOR VOLUNTEERS! =====
We’re seeking friendly volunteers to help welcome newcomers to our language exchange. In return, you’ll enjoy free drinks and pizza, plus a supportive team of fellow volunteers! Newcomers are welcome to apply as well—it's a great way to meet people!

We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all. Please adhere to the following rules:
