Make new friends while practicing a variety of languages over a refreshing drink. 🍻 At New To Melbourne, you'll immediately feel the warm community vibe; our members are approachable, supportive, and love welcoming newcomers. Bring a friend and dive into some language fun with us! Our language exchange is completely FREE and takes place every Wednesday evening. Arrive by 6 PM for budget-friendly food and drinks if you’re hungry! 😉🍻🍟

===== EVENT STRUCTURE =====
Upon arrival, you'll receive a name badge displaying your native language and the languages you wish to learn. Stick the badge on your chest with your native language on the right and the languages you’re learning on the left. Then mingle and start exchanging languages!
What to bring: A pen, paper, and your positive energy!
Age Requirement: 18+

We’re searching for enthusiastic volunteers eager to assist and greet newcomers. In return, we offer complimentary drinks and food (like pizza wedges) and a friendly team of fellow volunteers to connect with. If it’s your first time, feel free to apply—our volunteers are often new attendees too!
