Every week, over 150 enthusiastic participants from 23+ countries gather at our language exchange to learn new languages and forge friendships over a refreshing drink. 🍻

Experience the vibrant community at New To Melbourne! Our group is known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for newcomers. Bring a friend along and enjoy some language practice with us! :-)

This free language exchange occurs every Wednesday evening. Arrive by 6 PM for delicious food and drink specials if you're feeling hungry! 🍻🍟

Upon arrival, you'll receive a badge indicating your native language and the languages you wish to learn. Wear your badge with your native language on the right and the languages you're learning on the left. Now, mingle and exchange languages!

What to Bring: A pen, paper, and a positive attitude!

Age Requirement: 18+ only.

We are seeking friendly volunteers eager to assist and welcome newcomers. In return, we offer free drinks and food (like pizza wedges) and a chance to bond with fellow volunteers. First-timers are welcome to apply—our volunteers often share their own new experiences too! :-)
