When you attend the New To Melbourne language exchange, you'll immediately feel the warm and welcoming community atmosphere. Our group members are friendly, helpful, and always happy to welcome new faces. Feel free to bring along a friend and join us for a fun language practice session :-)

Our language exchange is absolutely free and takes place every Tuesday night. If you arrive at 6pm, you can also enjoy affordable food and drinks for dinner. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to connect with language learners and speakers in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.🍻🍟

What is a language exchange?
If you're new to our group, a language exchange is a fantastic opportunity to meet new friends and learn a new language while enjoying a drink. To truly grasp the concept, it's best to experience it firsthand by joining us for an evening.

Arrive at 6pm to engage in language practice sessions while groups are forming.

===== EVENT FORMAT =====
Upon arrival, you'll receive a badge displaying your native language on the right and the languages you're interested in learning on the left. This makes it easy for you to connect with others and engage in language exchange activities!

What to bring: Pen and paper, and most importantly, positive vibes!

Our events are dedicated to creating a safe and friendly environment for everyone to make new friends. To ensure the well-being of our group members, we have established the following rules:

1. This is *not* a dating group, so please refrain from asking for personal contact information. If you wish to connect, please use the meetup.com private chat feature.
2. Avoid promoting other groups, events, or tours on this page or during/after our events.
3. Advertising products, services, MLM schemes, or requesting attendees to complete surveys is strictly prohibited.
