First Meeting in Melbourne

I'm sorry for overlooking the mobile number up there. My bad. :(

I'm sorry if my criticism sounded worse than it was intended to sound. I was a bit annoyed because I would have loved to join in. However, I understand that things can go wrong at a first meeting. :)

my mobile number is right there under the meeting post! I  admit though, I've made several mistakes in the organisation of this:

Firstly, the confusion between Thursday and Friday and yes putting up a sign. Maybe not such a large pub, the other Bridie O'Reilly's

in the city has a more intimate environment being much smaller.

No clue how it went but I popped into the place and quickly decided that it was no point looking too hard.

I dare to doubt that picking a two storey place with an outside area and filled with about 150 people is the best place for a meeting of people who don't know each other. Without any signs (which I couldn't spot), no clearer arrangements about where in the pub or a mobile number, it is hard to get such a meeting running and make it inclusive. :(

If I had known beforehand that the place is that big, I would have suggested that earlier...

Great  plan and admirable efforts following it up,

        i  would love to attend but can not make second Fridays of the month at this stage, so this first one is out for me,  but with a bit of foresight,  they  can be made to vary somewhat over time.  Hope and trust you  have a lovely  time of it, please let me know how it all goes.

I've just realised that I actually put Thursday!!!!!! I thought I'd put Friday but I will come on Thursday nevertheless as everybody's planned for it!

Unless people decide that Friday's good for them too?
