What to Expect?

Join us for a dynamic language exchange experience where you'll be paired with native speakers in engaging 10-minute conversations throughout our two-hour sessions. By attending just twice a week, each lasting 2 hours, you'll have the opportunity to connect with numerous native speakers and enhance your language skills like never before.

While there is no quick path to mastering Spanish, the fun atmosphere of Spanglish will make you forget you’re even learning! The event kicks off with a 30-minute check-in, allowing you to meet fellow Spanglish enthusiasts—around half of our participants are newcomers! After some friendly ice-breaking, you'll be assigned a table to start your first one-on-one chat. Don't worry about making mistakes; your conversation partner is in the same position! You’ll spend 5 minutes speaking in English, followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, before moving on to your next partner. By the time the second rotation begins, you won’t even notice you’re improving!

What Topics Do We Discuss?
The choice is yours! There are no fixed subjects; we explore everything from favorite superheroes to favorite dining spots. This relaxed setting is the perfect backdrop to practice a new language while discussing things you enjoy!

Participants include study abroad students, international learners, local Argentine students brushing up on their English, and anyone seeking a flexible and welcoming atmosphere to enhance their conversational skills.

►HOW TO JOIN?
Simply head to the bar during check-in time, and our Spanglish staff will be there to register you!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?
Each session pairs you with native speakers for a series of 10-minute conversations. By joining us just twice a week for 2 hours, you can engage with a wealth of native speakers.
No shortcuts to fluency here—just a fun-filled experience! The event begins with a 40-minute check-in where you can mingle with other participants, most of whom are experiencing Spanglish for the first time. After some introductory games, you’ll move to your first conversation partner. Fear of mistakes? Leave it behind! You’ll engage in 5 minutes of English, followed by 5 minutes of Spanish, rotating to new partners as you go. By the second round, you'll be so absorbed in the fun that you’ll forget you’re even learning!
