While there’s no quick route to mastering Spanish, the joy of Spanglish will keep you coming back! The event kicks off with a 30-minute check-in, providing a perfect opportunity to mingle with fellow participants—around half the attendees are new each week! After some ice-breaking, you'll sit at a designated table for your first conversation. Don’t fret about making mistakes; everyone is here to learn! Each conversation consists of 5 minutes in English followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, after which you’ll rotate to a new partner. By the time you’re engaged in your second round, you’ll be so immersed in the fun that you’ll forget you’re actually learning!

What topics do we cover at Spanglish?
Anything you like! There are no fixed subjects. We discuss everything from our favorite movies to the best local eateries—it's a relaxed setting where you can practice a new language while chatting about things you enjoy!

Our attendees include study abroad students, international scholars, local Argentine learners of English, and anyone eager for a flexible, affordable, and welcoming atmosphere to enhance their conversation skills.

Simply head to the bar during the check-in period, and our Spanglish staff will be there to register you!

►HOW DOES THE EVENT WORK?

You will be paired with native speakers for a series of exciting 10-minute conversations over the two-hour session. By attending just two times a week, you’ll have the chance to engage with a multitude of native speakers.
There’s no easy path to Spanish fluency, but you’ll find that Spanglish is an enjoyable journey! The event begins with a 40-minute check-in where you’ll meet other Spanglish enthusiasts—half of whom are new attendees! After breaking the ice, you’ll take a seat with your first partner. Don’t worry about making mistakes; you’re all in this together! Each round consists of 5 minutes in English and 5 minutes in Spanish, after which you’ll switch partners. By the second rotation, we guarantee you’ll be having such a blast that you won’t even notice you’re learning!
