Welcome to Spanglish Thursday Language Exchange in Palermo!

Join us every Thursday, starting April 3, 2025, at 7:00 PM for a unique language-learning experience. Engage in dynamic, 10-minute conversations with native speakers during our two-hour sessions. By attending just twice a week, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of language enthusiasts and native speakers.

While there’s no quick path to achieving fluency in Spanish, our Spanglish sessions make the journey enjoyable! Kick off the evening with a 30-minute check-in, where you’ll meet fellow Spanglishers—about half of our attendees are new each week! After some icebreakers, you’ll be directed to your first conversation partner. Don’t stress about making mistakes; everyone is here to learn! You’ll speak for 5 minutes in English, followed by another 5 minutes in Spanish, before rotating to your next partner. By the time the second rotation begins, you’ll be so immersed in the fun, you’ll forget you’re learning!

What topics can you discuss at Spanglish? The conversation is entirely up to you! From superheroes to favorite eateries, we cover it all in a relaxed setting, making it the perfect environment to practice your language skills while discussing things you love!

Our community includes study abroad students, international attendees, local Argentine students mastering English, and anyone seeking a flexible, affordable, and friendly atmosphere to hone their conversational abilities.

►HOW TO JOIN?
Simply head to the bar during the check-in period, where a friendly Spanglish staff member will assist you with registration!

►WHAT TO EXPECT?
Our sessions feature a series of 10-minute conversations with native speakers, providing an incredible opportunity to practice your language skills. Engage in two-hour sessions twice a week, where you’ll meet a multitude of fellow language learners and native speakers. The fun begins with a 40-minute check-in, allowing you to mingle with new attendees and break the ice. Following this, you’ll be assigned to your first conversation partner. Remember, mistakes are part of the process—everyone is here to learn together! You’ll switch partners after 5 minutes of English and 5 minutes of Spanish, ensuring an engaging and enjoyable experience.
