How Does Spanglish Thursday Work?

Join us for an engaging language exchange experience where you will be paired with native speakers in a dynamic series of 10-minute conversations throughout our two-hour session. By attending just twice a week for two hours each time, you’ll have the opportunity to connect and practice with an incredible number of native speakers.

While there’s no magic shortcut to achieving Spanish fluency, our Spanglish environment is so enjoyable you won’t even think about it! The evening kicks off with a 30-minute check-in, allowing you to meet fellow Spanglish enthusiasts – and you’ll find that about half of our attendees are new each week! After some ice-breaking activities, you’ll be assigned to a table for your first one-on-one chat. Don’t fret about making mistakes; your partner is there to learn just like you! You’ll converse for 5 minutes in English, then switch to 5 minutes in Spanish, before moving on to your next conversation partner. By the time you reach the second rotation, we guarantee you’ll be having too much fun to realize you’re learning!

What Topics Do We Discuss?
Anything and everything! There are no fixed subjects. From discussing your favorite superheroes to sharing your top restaurant picks, it’s the perfect way to practice a new language in a relaxed atmosphere while chatting about things you genuinely enjoy!

Who Participates in Spanglish?
Our attendees include study abroad students, international learners, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone seeking a flexible, affordable, and friendly environment to hone their conversational skills.

What Is the Cost?
The fee is AR$6000 per event.
