Welcome to Spanglish Thursday Language Exchange in Palermo!

Join us every Thursday starting January 30, 2025, at 7:00 PM for an exciting language exchange experience. Connect with native speakers through engaging, structured conversations that last 10 minutes each during our two-hour sessions. With just two visits a week, you’ll have the chance to interact with a diverse group of language enthusiasts.

While mastery of Spanish takes time, our Spanglish gatherings are designed to make learning enjoyable! The evening kicks off with a 30-minute check-in, where you’ll meet fellow Spanglishers—about half of whom are first-timers. After some ice-breaking fun, you’ll be assigned to a table for your first one-on-one chat. Don’t fret about making mistakes; everyone is here to learn! Each participant will chat for 5 minutes in English followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, and then switch partners. We guarantee that by the second rotation, you’ll be fully immersed in the fun of language learning.

What topics will we discuss during Spanglish?
Anything and everything! There are no fixed subjects. Conversations can range from favorite superheroes to must-try restaurants—providing a relaxed atmosphere that makes practicing a new language enjoyable and relevant!

Who joins us at Spanglish?
Our community includes study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students learning English, and anyone seeking a flexible, affordable, and friendly environment to enhance their speaking skills.

The entry fee is AR$6000 per event.

►HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
Simply head to the bar during check-in to meet our Spanglish Staff, who will assist you with registration!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?
Engage in a series of 10-minute conversations with native speakers throughout our two-hour sessions. There are no shortcuts to acquiring Spanish fluency—yet Spanglish ensures you’ll have a blast while learning! Our 40-minute check-in allows you to mingle with other attendees, many of whom are newcomers. After some ice-breaking, you’ll be assigned a table for your initial conversation. Mistakes are part of the process; rest assured that your conversation partner is in the same position! You’ll switch partners every 10 minutes, ensuring maximum interaction and enjoyment.

Our events are frequented by study abroad students, international students, local Argentine learners of English, and anyone keen on finding a supportive and comfortable setting to refine their conversation skills.
