Join us for an exciting language exchange experience at "Spanglish Thursday Language Exchange" in Palermo every Thursday starting January 23, 2025, at 7:00 PM! This event is designed for language enthusiasts looking to enhance their Spanish and English skills in a fun, social setting.

How does it work? You'll engage in a series of 10-minute conversations with native speakers during our two-hour sessions. By attending just twice a week, you'll have the opportunity to connect with a diverse range of participants, greatly enhancing your conversational practice.

Spanish fluency doesn't happen overnight, and at Spanglish, we believe in making the journey enjoyable! Our event kicks off with a 30-minute check-in, allowing you to meet and mingle with fellow attendees—many of whom are new each week. After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be paired at your table for your first one-on-one conversation. There's no pressure to be perfect; your conversation partner is just as eager to learn! Each round consists of 5 minutes of English and 5 minutes of Spanish, and before you know it, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning!

What topics can you discuss at Spanglish? The choice is yours! From favorite movies and books to local dining spots, the conversations are as diverse as the participants. It's a fantastic way to practice a language while chatting about your interests in a relaxed atmosphere.

Who can you expect to meet at Spanglish? Our community includes study abroad students, international scholars, local Argentine students learning English, and anyone interested in a welcoming and affordable space to sharpen their conversation skills.

► How does Spanglish work? Engage in pairs for 10-minute conversations over a two-hour session. Participate in our 40-minute check-in to meet other Spanglishers—many are new faces! After some introductory activities, you’ll dive into your first conversation at your assigned table. Remember, everyone is here to learn, so relax and enjoy yourself! Each round features 5 minutes in English followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, rotating partners for a dynamic experience.
