Join us every Saturday for "Spanglish Saturday Language Exchange" in Palermo at 7:00 PM! Experience the joy of learning Spanish through engaging conversations with native speakers. During each two-hour session, you'll be paired up for a series of dynamic 10-minute dialogues, allowing you to practice your language skills in a fun and interactive way.

Fluency in Spanish may take time, but at Spanglish, you'll find that the process is enjoyable! Our event kicks off with a 30-minute check-in where you’ll connect with fellow participants—many of whom are joining for the first time. After some ice-breaking activities, you’ll move to an assigned table for your first one-on-one conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes; everyone is here to learn! Each conversation consists of 5 minutes in English followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, after which you'll rotate partners. By the second round, you’ll be so immersed in the experience that you’ll forget you’re studying!

What topics will we discuss at Spanglish? The choice is yours! There are no predetermined subjects; we chat about everything from favorite superheroes to local eateries. It’s an enjoyable way to practice a new language in a relaxed atmosphere while discussing things that interest you!

Our attendees include study abroad and international students, local Argentine learners of English, and anyone seeking a friendly, affordable environment to enhance their conversation skills.

Simply head to the bar during check-in time, and our friendly Spanglish staff will be there to register you!

How does the event work?
You’ll be paired with native speakers for engaging 10-minute conversations throughout the two-hour session. Attending just twice a week offers you the chance to meet and practice with a fantastic variety of native speakers. The fun begins during our 40-minute check-in, where you can mingle with other Spanglishers—around half of whom are new! After some initial ice-breaking, you’ll head to your assigned table for your first conversation. With no pressure to be perfect, you’ll find yourself enjoying the process! Each rotation will have you conversing 5 minutes in English and 5 in Spanish, ensuring that by the second rotation, you’ll be too engrossed to notice you’re learning!
