Join us for an engaging evening at Spanglish Thursday Language Exchange in Palermo, where you'll be paired with native speakers for a series of dynamic 10-minute conversations throughout our two-hour session. Whether you attend just twice a week or more, you'll have the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of native speakers and enhance your language skills.

While there’s no quick fix for achieving fluency in Spanish, the Spanglish experience is so enjoyable that you won't want to take shortcuts! The evening kicks off with a 30-minute check-in session where you can mingle with fellow Spanglish enthusiasts — about half of our participants are newcomers! After some ice-breaking fun, you'll move to your designated table for your first one-on-one conversation. Don’t worry about making mistakes; your conversation partner is in the same position! You’ll spend 5 minutes speaking in English and then switch to 5 minutes in Spanish before rotating to a new partner. By the time the second rotation begins, we guarantee you’ll be having such a blast that you’ll forget you’re even learning.

What Topics Do We Cover?
You’re free to discuss anything you like! There are no fixed topics here. Conversations can range from favorite superheroes to must-visit restaurants, making it the perfect setting to practice a new language while chatting about things you enjoy!

Our participants include study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students keen on improving their English, and anyone seeking a flexible and welcoming environment to practice their conversation skills.

►HOW TO JOIN?
Simply head to the bar during check-in time, and a member of the Spanglish Staff will assist you with registration!

►HOW DOES THE EVENT FLOW?

During our 40-minute check-in period, you’ll get to know other Spanglishers — many of whom are new faces! Once everyone’s settled, you’ll receive your table assignment for the first conversation. Remember, everyone here is eager to learn, so don’t stress about mistakes! You’ll engage in 5 minutes of English followed by 5 minutes of Spanish, then switch partners for the next round. By the second rotation, we promise you’ll be so immersed in the experience that you won’t even notice you’re practicing a new language.

We welcome study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone looking for a casual, budget-friendly space to sharpen their conversation abilities.
