While there’s no quick route to mastering Spanish, the joy of Spanglish will keep you engaged! The event kicks off with a lively 30-minute check-in, perfect for meeting fellow Spanglishers—approximately half the participants are newcomers! After some ice-breaking activities, you’ll be paired at tables for your first one-on-one conversation. Don’t stress about mistakes; your partner is learning too! Each conversation consists of 5 minutes in English followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, before you switch to a new partner. We guarantee that by the second round, you’ll be having such a great time that you’ll forget you’re even learning!

What topics can we discuss at Spanglish?
The choice is yours! There are no fixed subjects; we chat about anything from our favorite superheroes to our must-try restaurants. It’s a relaxed and enjoyable way to practice your language skills while discussing things you love!

Who can join Spanglish?
Our community includes study-abroad students, international scholars, local Argentine students learning English, and anyone seeking a flexible, affordable, and enjoyable space to enhance their conversation abilities.

Simply head over to the bar during check-in, and our friendly Spanglish staff will assist you with registration!

►HOW DOES IT FUNCTION?

Experience the thrill of engaging with native speakers in a series of 10-minute conversations during our two-hour sessions. By attending just twice a week, you will meet and practice with an impressive number of native speakers.
There’s no shortcut to achieving fluency in Spanish, but Spanglish makes the journey enjoyable! The event commences with a 40-minute check-in session where you can mingle with other Spanglish enthusiasts—about half of the attendees are new! After some ice-breaking, you’ll sit at assigned tables for your first round of conversations. Don't worry about making errors; everyone is learning together! You’ll engage in 5 minutes of conversation in English, followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, and then switch to new partners. By the second rotation, we promise you’ll be having a blast and forgetting you’re even studying!
