While there’s no magic formula for mastering Spanish, Spanglish makes the journey enjoyable! The event kicks off with a 30-minute check-in, where you can mingle and meet fellow Spanglishers—many of whom are attending for the first time! After some light ice-breaking, you’ll be directed to a designated table for your first one-on-one conversation. Don’t stress about making mistakes; everyone is here to learn! Each conversation consists of 5 minutes in English followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, after which you’ll switch partners. By the end of the second rotation, you'll be so engaged that you might forget you're even learning!

Topics of conversation at Spanglish?
Anything and everything! There are no restrictions on discussion topics. From favorite superheroes to local dining spots, it's the best way to practice a new language while enjoying a laid-back atmosphere and chatting about things you love!

Simply head over to the bar during the check-in period, and our friendly Spanglish staff will assist you with registration!

►WHAT TO EXPECT?
Experience engaging 10-minute conversations with native speakers during each two-hour session. By attending just twice a week, you’ll have the opportunity to practice with a multitude of conversation partners.
There’s no shortcut to fluency in Spanish—but at Spanglish, you won’t want one! The fun begins with a 40-minute check-in where you can meet other participants, almost half of whom are new each week! After some enjoyable ice-breaking, you’ll be guided to your first conversation table. No worries about making mistakes—the person across from you is learning too! Each round consists of a 5-minute chat in English followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, after which you’ll rotate partners. By the second set of conversations, you’ll be having such a great time that you may forget you’re actually learning!
