Join us for an exciting language exchange event called "Spanglish Thursday Language Exchange Palermo"! Every Thursday, starting from Thu, Feb 15, 2024, at 7:00 PM, immerse yourself in a unique experience of language learning and cultural exchange.

During this event, you'll have the opportunity to engage in a series of 10-minute conversations with native speakers. By attending just two sessions per week, each lasting 2 hours, you'll have the chance to meet and practice with a large number of native speakers.

At Spanglish, we believe there's no shortcut to Spanish fluency, but learning can be fun! The event kicks off with a 30-minute check-in, where you'll get to know fellow Spanglishers. Don't worry if you're new, as half of the attendees are too! After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a table for your first one-on-one conversation. Mistakes are part of the learning process, so feel free to make them without hesitation. The person across from you is in the same boat! You'll spend 5 minutes conversing in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new conversation partner. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning!

What can you talk about at Spanglish? Anything you want! There are no set topics. Whether it's superheroes or restaurants, discussing things you know and enjoy is the best way to practice another language in a relaxed environment.

Who attends Spanglish? Study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone seeking a flexible, affordable, and comfortable environment to enhance their conversation skills.

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

Get ready to engage in a series of 10-minute conversations with native speakers during each two-hour session. By attending as little as two times a week, for 2 hours at a time, you'll have the amazing opportunity to meet and practice with an unparalleled number of native speakers. There's no shortcut to Spanish fluency, but with Spanglish, learning becomes so enjoyable that you won't even want one! The event starts with a 40-minute check-in, where you'll get acquainted with other Spanglishers. Around half of the attendees are new, so you'll blend right in! After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a group for your first conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes, as everyone is in the same boat. You'll spend 5 minutes conversing in English, followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, and then move on to a new group of conversation partners. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're actually learning.
