Welcome to the Spanglish Saturday Language Exchange Palermo! Join us every Saturday starting from February 3, 2024, at 7:00 PM for an exciting language learning experience.

How does it work?

During each two-hour session, you'll be paired with native speakers for a series of 10-minute conversations. By attending just two times a week, you'll have the opportunity to meet and practice with an unparalleled number of native speakers.

There is no shortcut to Spanish fluency, but with Spanglish, learning becomes fun! The event starts with a 30-minute check-in where you'll have the chance to meet other Spanglishers. Don't worry if you're new, as about half of the attendees are also newcomers. After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a table for your first one-on-one conversation. The best part is that you can make mistakes without any hesitation, as your conversation partner is in the same boat! You'll converse for 5 minutes in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new partner. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning.

What do we talk about at Spanglish?

The topics are up to you! There are no set subjects, so you can discuss anything from your favorite superheroes to your preferred restaurants. It's the best way to practice another language – in a relaxed environment, talking about things you know and enjoy!

Our event attracts study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone looking for a flexible, affordable, and comfortable environment to practice their conversation skills.

How much does it cost?

The entry fee for the event is AR$4000.

►HOW TO BE PART?

Simply go directly to the bar during the check-in time, and you will find a Spanglish Staff member who will register you!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

The event starts with a 40-minute check-in where you'll have the chance to meet other Spanglishers. About half of the attendees are new, so you'll feel right at home. After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a table for your first conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes, as your conversation partner is in the same boat! You'll converse for 5 minutes in English, 5 minutes in Spanish, and then move on to a new group of conversation partners. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning.
