Join us at the Spanglish Thursday Language Exchange Palermo event, happening every Thursday starting from February 1, 2024, at 7:00 PM. This event is perfect for language enthusiasts like you who want to practice their Spanish and English skills in a fun and interactive way.

During the event, you'll have the opportunity to engage in a series of 10-minute conversations with native speakers. By attending just two times a week for 2 hours each time, you'll have the chance to meet and practice with a diverse group of native speakers.

If you're wondering what to expect, let us assure you that Spanglish is all about having fun while learning. The event kicks off with a 30-minute check-in period where you can get to know the other participants. Don't worry if you're new, as about half of the attendees are also first-timers. Once the ice is broken, you'll be assigned to a table for your first one-on-one conversation. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, as your conversation partner is in the same boat! You'll spend 5 minutes speaking in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new partner. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you won't even realize you're learning.

At Spanglish, there are no set topics for conversation. You can talk about anything you want, from your favorite superheroes to your favorite restaurants. It's the best way to practice another language – in a relaxed environment, discussing topics you know and enjoy!

Our event attracts a diverse crowd, including study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone looking for a flexible, affordable, and comfortable environment to practice their conversation skills.

The cost of attending the event is AR$3500. Alternatively, you can get the Spanglish package for 4 events at AR$12000. Additionally, if you prefer virtual language exchange events, you can enjoy them for free.

►HOW TO BE PART?
To join the event, simply go directly to the bar during the check-in time. Our friendly Spanglish Staff will be there to register you and guide you through the event.

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

Get paired with native speakers in a series of 10-minute conversations during every two-hour session. Attending as little as two times a week, for 2 hours at a time, you’ll meet and practice with an unparalleled number of native speakers.
There is no shortcut to Spanish fluency - but Spanglish is so fun you won’t want one! Spanglish starts during the 40 minute check in: Get to know the other Spanglishers – about half of the attendees at every event are new! After a little bit of ice-breaking, you’ll head to an assigned table for your first conversation. No need to worry about making mistakes – the person sitting across from you is in the same boat! You converse for 5 minutes in English, 5 in Spanish – and then move on to a new group of conversation partners. By the second rotation we promise you’ll be having so much fun you’ll forget you’re learning.
