Join us for a unique language exchange event, Spanglish Saturday Language Exchange Palermo! Every Saturday at 7:00 PM starting from January 27, 2024.

Experience the excitement of conversing with native speakers in a series of 10-minute conversations during our two-hour sessions. Attending just twice a week, for 2 hours each time, will give you the opportunity to meet and practice with an unparalleled number of native speakers.

Spanglish is not just another language learning program - it's a fun and enjoyable way to become fluent in Spanish. The event begins with a 30-minute check-in period where you can get to know other Spanglishers. Approximately half of the attendees are new at each event, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to make new friends. After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a table for your first one-on-one conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes, your conversation partner is in the same boat! You'll spend 5 minutes speaking in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new conversation partner. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning!

At Spanglish, there are no set topics - you can talk about anything you want! From your favorite superheroes to the best restaurants in town, it's the perfect environment to practice another language while hanging out and discussing things you enjoy.

Who attends Spanglish? The event attracts study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone seeking a flexible, affordable, and comfortable environment to improve their conversation skills.

Simply come to the bar during the check-in time and look for a Spanglish Staff member who will register you!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

During the event, you will be paired with native speakers for a series of 10-minute conversations within the two-hour session. There are no shortcuts to Spanish fluency, but with Spanglish, learning becomes so enjoyable that you won't even want one! The event starts with a 40-minute check-in period where you can get to know other attendees. Approximately half of the participants are new at each event, providing a great chance to make new connections. After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a group for your first conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes, everyone is in the same boat! You'll spend 5 minutes speaking in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new group of conversation partners. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning.
