Join us for Spanglish Saturday Language Exchange Palermo! Every Saturday at 7:00 PM starting November 11, 2023, immerse yourself in a unique language learning experience like no other.

During each two-hour session, you'll have the opportunity to engage in a series of 10-minute conversations with native speakers. By attending as little as two times a week, you'll gain exposure to an unparalleled number of native speakers and practice your language skills.

Spanglish starts with a 30-minute check-in, where you'll get to know other participants. Approximately half of the attendees at each event are new, creating a welcoming environment for everyone. After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned a table for your first one-on-one conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes - your conversation partner is in the same boat! You'll converse for 5 minutes in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new partner. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're learning!

At Spanglish, there are no set topics for conversation. You can talk about anything you want, whether it's your favorite superheroes or restaurants. It's the perfect opportunity to practice another language in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

Who attends Spanglish? We welcome study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone looking for a flexible, affordable, and comfortable environment to practice their conversation skills.

To join, simply go directly to the bar during the check-in time and look for a Spanglish Staff member who will register you!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

Get ready to be paired with native speakers in a series of 10-minute conversations during each two-hour session. Attending just two times a week, for 2 hours each time, will provide you with the opportunity to meet and practice with a remarkable number of native speakers.
There are no shortcuts to Spanish fluency, but with Spanglish, you won't want one! The fun begins during the 40-minute check-in period, where you'll have the chance to get acquainted with other Spanglishers. Remember, about half of the attendees are new to each event! After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a table for your first conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes - your conversation partners are in the same boat! You'll spend 5 minutes speaking in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new group of conversation partners. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning.
