Join us for an exciting language exchange event called "Spanglish Saturday Language Exchange Palermo"! Held every Saturday starting from August 5, 2023, at 7:00 PM, this event is perfect for language enthusiasts and those looking to improve their language skills.

During the event, you'll have the opportunity to engage in 10-minute conversations with native speakers. With each session lasting for two hours, you can attend as little as two times a week to meet and practice with a diverse group of native speakers.

At Spanglish, we believe there are no shortcuts to Spanish fluency, but we guarantee you'll have a blast along the way! The event kicks off with a 30-minute check-in period, where you'll get to know other Spanglishers. Around half of the attendees are new each time, so it's a great opportunity to make new connections. After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a table for your first one-on-one conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes, as your conversation partner is in the same boat! You'll spend 5 minutes speaking English and 5 minutes speaking Spanish before moving on to a new partner. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're learning.

Wondering what topics to discuss at Spanglish? The answer is simple – anything you want! We have no set topics, so you can chat about your favorite superheroes, restaurants, or anything else you're interested in. It's the perfect way to practice another language while hanging out in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Who attends Spanglish? We welcome study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone looking for a flexible, affordable, and comfortable environment to practice their conversation skills.

The event costs AR$2000, payable at the venue. If you're interested in attending multiple events, we offer the Spanglish package, which includes four events for AR$7100. Plus, you can enjoy our virtual language exchange events for free.

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

Get paired with native speakers in a series of 10-minute conversations during every two-hour session. Attending as little as two times a week, for 2 hours at a time, you’ll meet and practice with an unparalleled number of native speakers.
There is no shortcut to Spanish fluency - but Spanglish is so fun you won’t want one! Spanglish starts during the 40-minute check-in: Get to know the other Spanglishers – about half of the attendees at every event are new! After a little bit of ice-breaking, you’ll head to an assigned table for your first conversation. No need to worry about making mistakes – the person sitting across from you is in the same boat! You converse for 5 minutes in English, 5 in Spanish – and then move on to a new group of conversation partners. By the second rotation, we promise you’ll be having so much fun you’ll forget you’re learning.
