Join us for an exciting language exchange event, Spanglish Thursday Language Exchange Palermo! Every Thursday, starting from August 3, 2023, at 7:00 PM.

Experience the unique opportunity to engage in 10-minute conversations with native speakers during our two-hour sessions. By attending just two times a week, you'll have the chance to meet and practice with an exceptional number of native speakers.

Spanglish is not just a quick route to Spanish fluency, it's also incredibly fun! The event kicks off with a 30-minute check-in session, where you'll get to know other Spanglishers. Don't worry if you're new, as half of the attendees are newcomers too! After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned a table for your first one-on-one conversation. Mistakes are not a concern here, as your conversation partner is in the same boat! You'll converse for 5 minutes in English and 5 minutes in Spanish before moving on to a new partner. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning.

At Spanglish, there are no set topics for conversation. You can talk about anything you want, from your favorite superheroes to the best restaurants in town. It's the perfect environment to practice another language, where you can relax and discuss things you know and love!

Our event welcomes study abroad students, international students, local Argentine students studying English, and anyone seeking a flexible, affordable, and comfortable space to enhance their conversation skills.

The event admission fee is AR$1700. Alternatively, you can opt for the Spanglish package, which includes four events for AR$6000. Additionally, you can enjoy our virtual language exchange events for free.

To join, simply go directly to the bar during the check-in time, and our friendly Spanglish Staff will register you!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

Get ready to be paired with native speakers for a series of 10-minute conversations during our two-hour sessions. Attending at least two times a week, for 2 hours each time, guarantees you the opportunity to meet and practice with an exceptional number of native speakers.
Remember, there are no shortcuts to Spanish fluency, but with Spanglish, you won't even want one! The event starts with a 40-minute check-in session, where you'll have the chance to get to know other Spanglishers. Approximately half of the attendees are newcomers! After some ice-breaking activities, you'll be assigned to a group for your first conversation. Don't worry about making mistakes, as everyone is in the same boat. You'll have 5 minutes to converse in English, followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, before moving on to a new group of conversation partners. By the second rotation, you'll be having so much fun that you'll forget you're even learning.
