Assalamu 3laykum dear Algerian PG members

This is a tentative to make an English speaking conversation group in Algiers.

Why?
because many young people are learning English but does not have an opportunity
to practice speaking. Or simply because we want to go outdoor, meet
new people and enjoy a nice conversation with buddies with common interests.

Where? [*** updated ***]

NB: please private message me if you are attending so i can give you my phone
number just in case.  I will be wearing a blue sky hat and eyes glasses and grey t-shirt
and a short pant (pantacourt). Will write something
to help you identify the spot (table).

I thaught of Algiers' public garden (in El-hamma) as a venue,
because it is a nice and relaxed place for conversation. There you smell clean air while enjoying
some nature colors under the shade. The transport means are convenient (subway, train, bus, cars).

When? [***updated***]
Wednesday, July 22nd 2015.
From 10:15 am to 11:45 am.

To be brief, I am in this meeting if there are enough paraticipants (let's say seven members at least).
My level I would say is 7/10, all levels and ages are welcome (I wish a middle aged or senior
could make it :)). You may find a participant with your level.

Again, this is also an opportunity to meet poeple and maybe make friends or English language partners.
The meeting is informal, you can introduce yourself and jump into the discussion or join a subgroup if we
are many. If you are shy, no worry just prepare a sentence to break the ice, like saying "You look
so familiar, have we ever met before?" or talk about the weather or something up in the news. The most
funny and easy ice breaker I got was with a girl at conversation group (in a coffee
shop), she asked what I have on my T-shirt. I checked and said "i see nothing. What's up?".
She answered: "that was an just an ice breaker" and that's how she started the conversation :)

Look forward to meet some of you there.

-Hakim

NB: There is 60 DZD entrance fee (to enter the public garden).

@Djamel16 and @ZAKAZIKO: I am not sure about the weekends. You guys can always volunteer to create
the event on the weekend if that works for you. Hopefully you will get more attendees. Just make sure
enough people will commit! good luck.

The discussion group will take place in the "rest area" (espace d'étente)
just on your right side when you enter the garden. See the map below.
