Reasons for study according to the age of student

• The graph shows the difference between the reason for study according to the age of the students.

• It can be seen from the graph that as older is the student, the study for interest become more important than the study for career.

• For students under twenty-six years old, 80% of them study based in their careers, and only 10% of these students do the same for their own interests.

• In the other side, when we analyse the students over 49 years old, about 20% of them focus their studies to benefit their careers, versus 70% of these students are focused on their personal interests.

• Between 26 and 49 years old, the rate of students focused on their career decreases, and for students who do it just for interest, it increases.

• Notice that, for all age ranges, the total percentual is less than 100%.

• It means that there are other reasons for people to study.
