Present Tense Conjugation

In Southern Betsimisaraka Malagasy, verbs are conjugated or changed depending on the subject pronoun. The present tense is used when describing actions that are happening now. Below are the present tense conjugations for each subject pronoun:

Tips and Reminders

- Verbs in Southern Betsimisaraka Malagasy often include the subject pronoun, so it is not always necessary to use a separate subject pronoun in a sentence. - When using the verb with the subject noun, there is no need to add the subject pronoun before the verb.
