Slovak Vocabulary - Fruits

Hi Slovak learners! 😊
In this lesson, you will learn the most important Slovak words related to fruits. Knowing these words will help you to understand and communicate better in Slovak.

Fruits

Here is a list of the most common fruits in Slovak with their pronunciation and English translation.

Slovak Pronunciation English Translation
jablko yah-bl-koh apple
hruška hroo-sh-kah pear
banán bah-nah-n banana
pomaranč poh-mah-rahnch orange
ananás ah-nah-nahs pineapple

You can also use the following phrases to talk about fruits:

  • Mám rád/rada jablká - I like apples
  • Chcem jablko - I want an apple
  • Kde sú jablká? - Where are the apples?
  • Máte banány? - Do you have bananas?
