Common Han Characters
Common Han Characters.jpg

Hello polyglots, 😀

On this page you will find a series of lessons on Han characters. Lessons are divided by radicals and each lesson describes the glyphs, the pronunciations and the meanings of characters. Some radicals have fewer than 20 characters, so they will not have its own page and is placed on this page instead.

I saw that there are a lot of Kanji materials, many Hanzi materials, some Hanja materials, little to no chữ Hán materials. I wonder what if I put them together and sort the characters according to the radical, which implies the relevance of the character's meaning in most cases.

This lesson is going to be renewed with Text to Wordlist. Characters are gathered from the following lists:

Happy learning!
