==World Children's Day==
54 Articles, set out in the Charter of the United Nations, include conventions and provisions relating to the recognition of inherent dignity and the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family, which is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world.

The provisions of the Convention cover 3 pillars:
#Benefits that guarantee the right to health and access to education, social security, and benefits for an adequate standard of living.
#Protection, which covers the child from all forms of abuse, discrimination, exploitation, injustice, conflict and conflict.
#Participation, which recognizes the right of the child to have his / her opinion taken into account, to have information in order to be able to decide on issues that concern him / her.

Freedom in shaping and expressing his views.

On November 20, 1989, the UN General Assembly unanimously voted on the fundamental step of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

In this condition, any person under the age of 18 is defined as a child.

World Day for the Rights of the Child was established by UNICEF on November 20 of each year.

In Greece, Children's Day is celebrated on December 11 - the birthday of UNICEF, which was founded on December 11, 1946 to help the children of Europe, the Middle East and China after the end of World War II.

Οι πρόνοιες της Σύμβασης καλύπτουν 3 πυλώνες:
#Παροχές, που διασφαλίζουν δικαίωμα στην υγεία και πρόσβαση στην εκπαίδευση, την κοινωνική ασφάλιση, καθώς και στις παροχές για ένα επαρκές βιοτικό επίπεδο.
#Προστασία, που καλύπτει απο κάθε μορφή κακοποίησης το παιδί,διάκριση, εκμετάλλευση, αδικία, διαμάχη και σύρραξη .
#Συμμετοχή, που αναγνωρίζει το δικαίωμα του παιδιού  να λαμβάνεται υπόψη η γνώμη του, να έχει πληροφόρηση για να είναι σε θέση να αποφασίζει για θέματα που το αφορούν.

Ελευθερία στη διαμόρφωση και έκφραση των απόψεών του.


'''Στις 20 Νοεμβρίου 1989''', η Γενική Συνέλευση του '''ΟΗΕ''' ψήφισε ομόφωνα το  θεμελιώδες βήμα Σύμβασης  για την προάσπιση των δικαιωμάτων του παιδιού.


Στην συνθήκη αυτή, ορίζονται ως παιδιά κάθε πρόσωπο ηλικίας κάτω των '''18''' ετών.


Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Δικαιωμάτων του Παιδιού καθιερώθηκε απο την '''UNICEF'''  η '''20 Νοεμβρίου''' εκάστοτε έτους.


'''Στην Ελλάδα''' η Ημέρα του παιδιού γιορτάζεται την '''11η Δεκεμβρίου''' – γενέθλια ημέρα της '''UNICEF''' που ιδρύθηκε στις '''11 Δεκεμβρίου 1946''' για να βοηθήσει αρχικά τα παιδιά της Ευρώπης, της Μέσης Ανατολής και Κίνας μετά το τέλος του Β’ παγκοσμίου Πολέμου.
