When we want to use more numbers this happens:


*20- بیست- bist
Numbers 11 to 19 are, as it is the case in many languages, slightly irregular:
* 11 - یازده - yāzdah
* 12 - دوازده - davāzdah
* 13 - سیزده - sizdah
* 14 - چهارده - ch'hārdah
* 15 - پانزده - pānzdah / punzdah
* 16 - شانزده - shānzsah / shunzdah
* 17 - هفده - hifdah
* 18 - هجده - hijdah
* 19 - نوزده - nuzdah
 
- note that Afghans and Tajiks say "hibdah" instead of "hifdah" for 17
 
These are the higher numbers:

If you want to say 21, 22, etc you have to use و ("o" = "and") and the numbers 1-9 from above.


For numbers after 1000 it is like that:
* 21 - بیست و يك - bist-o-yek
* 22 - بیست و دو - bist-o-do


*2000= 2*1000 (دو هزار- do hezar)
For numbers after 1000 it goes like that:


*3000=3*1000 (سه هزار- se hezar)  
*2000= 2*1000 (دو هزار - do hezār)
