French Grammar - Summary table of articles
An article is a word that modifies a noun by stating whether the noun is specific, unspecific, or partial.
There are 3 types of French articles:
- Definite / Défini
- Indefinite / Indéfini
- Partitive / Partitif
Definite | Indefinite | Partitive | |

masculine | le, l'/the | un/a | du, de l'/some/no article |
feminine | la, l'/the | une/a | de la, de l'/some/no article |
plural | les/the | des/some/no article |
