Indefinite pronouns
Pronouns are such useful little words! They normally substitute nouns, making written and verbal language less boring by enhancing their flow.
Indefinite pronouns refer to one or more unspecified persons and objects. The following table shows some of the indefinite pronouns with examples.
(Άρνηση) : This apple is not green / Cette pomme n'est pas verte (negation)
•Με ζήτησε κανείς; (Ερώτηση) : Someone asked me ? / Quelqu'un m'a demandé?

Attention:
If “κανένας (κανείς), καμιά (καμία), κανένα” and “τίποτα ” are used in a negative sentence with a verb, the negative words “δε(ν)” or“ μη(ν)” have to be used as well. Notice that Greek uses double negative. |
