Giving Your Opinion

When you want to give your opinion in Sango, you can use the expression "Nǎgǐ na dè" or "Me na dè". Both expressions mean "I think that..." or "In my opinion...". You can also use "Me tè" or "Nǎgǐ tè" which mean "I believe that...".

Here are some examples:

In Sango culture, opinions and respecting other people's opinions are important. It is considered impolite to interrupt someone while they are giving their opinion. Additionally, if you do not agree with someone's opinion, it is better to keep quiet rather than argue aggressively.

• Person 1: Nǎgǐ tè, the book is difficult to read. (I believe that the book is difficult to read.)
• Person 2: Me na dè, I find it easy to read. (In my opinion, I find it easy to read.)
