A "teacher" is called "ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕ" (adhyaapaka), and a "student" is a "ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ" (vidyaarthee). Finally, "camera" is "ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾ" (kyamara), which can come in handy for online classes or taking pictures of notes.

In addition, if you want to talk about more creative subjects like "Finger-painting," the Kannada word for it is "ಅಂಗುಲಾಕುಶಲೀಕರಣ" (angulaakushaleekarana). For "Art," use "ಚಿತ್ರಕಲೆ" (chitrakale). - Student: ಸರ್, ನಾವು ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಕ್ರಿಯಾಪದಗಳ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಬಹುದು. (Sar, naavu angLa bhaaSheya kriyaapadagaLa udaaharaNegaLannu vivarisa-bahudhu) which means "Yes, we can explain examples of English verbs."
- Teacher: ನೀವು ಆ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಬಗೆಯ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ? (Neevu a puStakadaLi yAv bagyeeya saamaanya maahithiyan-nannu kandukoNDiDdeera?) which means "What sort of general information have you found in that book?"
