In this lesson, we will learn about the gender rules in Telugu. We will look at the different genders in Telugu and how to identify them. We will also look at some examples and practice exercises to help you understand the concept better. Let's get started!

Rules

In Telugu, there are three genders: masculine, feminine, and neuter. Masculine nouns refer to male persons or animals, while feminine nouns refer to female persons or animals. Neuter nouns refer to things that are neither male nor female.

The gender of a noun can usually be identified by its ending. Masculine nouns usually end in అ (a), ఆ (aa), ఇ (i), ఈ (ii), ఉ (u), ఊ (uu), ఋ (ru), ౠ (ruu), ఎ (e), ఏ (ee), ఐ (ai), ఒ (o), ఓ (oo), ఔ (au). Feminine nouns usually end in అం (am), అః (ah), అయ్ (ay), అవ్ (av), అయ్ (ay), అవ్ (av), అల్ (al), అళ్ (al). Neuter nouns usually end in తె (te), తొ (to), త్ (t).
