In this lesson, we will learn about the future tense in Kannada. We will look at how to form sentences in the future tense, as well as some examples of how to use it in conversation.
The future tense is used to talk about actions that will happen in the future. In Kannada, the future tense is formed by adding the suffix ಇಗೆ (ige) to the verb stem. For example, the verb ಹೋದು (hodu) means "to do" and the future tense of this verb is ಹೋಗೆ (hoge).

The future tense can also be used to make predictions about the future. For example:

The future tense can also be used to ask questions about the future. For example:
