Negation in Central Khmer

This word can be used alone or combined with other words to form more complex negations. For example, mây sây (មិនសូវ) means "not want" and mây kân (មិនគិត) means "not understand".
Another way to express negation is by using the word bân (បាន). This word is usually used in combination with other words to form negative sentences. For example, bân sây (បានសូវ) means "did not want" and bân kân (បានគិត) means "did not understand".
Finally, negation can also be expressed using the word tây (ទេ). This word is usually used at the end of a sentence to indicate that the statement is false. For example, sây tây (សូវទេ) means "do not want" and kân tây (គិតទេ) means "do not understand".
