Rules[edit | edit source]
In Galician there are no perfect tenses, in that sense it is closer to Latin than other romance languages.
- âEu fixenâ means âI didâ, in Spanish you have both âyo hiceâ and âyo he hechoâ.
- Pluscuamperfect: âEu fixeraâ= (Sp) âYo habĂa hechoâ, I had done in English.
The parcial exception are verbs with âTerâ (have) and participle, implying a repeated action in the past:
- âTiña estado tres veces en ParĂsâ means âI had already been three times in Parisâ.
