Harvest Festivals
The harvest season in Telugu-speaking regions is a time of joy and gratitude. Two of the major harvest festivals celebrated in Telugu culture are:
Sankranti
Sankranti, also known as Makar Sankranti, is celebrated in mid-January to mark the end of the winter solstice and the beginning of longer days. It is a four-day festival known for its colorful decorations, traditional foods, and kite-flying competitions.
