Ways to Give Your Opinion

There are several ways to give your opinion in Somali. Here are some of the most common:

  • Waxaan qabaa - I think
  • Waxaan u maleynayaa - I believe
  • Waxaan u arkaa - I see
  • Waxaan u malaynayaa - I guess
  • Waxaan u maleynayaa - I suppose
  • Waxaan u maleynayaa - I imagine

Expressing Agreement

When expressing agreement with someone else's opinion, you can use the following phrases:

  • Waan ogahay - I agree
  • Waan aqbalayaa - I accept
  • Waan raacsanahay - I'm in agreement
  • Waan fahamsanahay - I understand

Expressing Disagreement
