ayubovan: general greeting ආයුබෝවන්
halo: informal greeting හලෝ
kohomadha saepa sanipa: how are you? කොහොමද සැප සනිප?
saepa sanipa kohomadha: how are you? සැප සනීප කොහොමද?
kohomadha: how are you? informal කොහොමද?
hondhi: reply to කොහොමද සැප සනිප and කොහොමද හොඳයි
hondhin innava: reply to කොහොමද සැප සනිප and කොහොමද හොඳින් ඉන්නවා
istuti mama hodin innava: reply to කොහොමද සැප සනිප and කොහොමද ඉස්තුති මම හොදින් ඉන්නව
subha udhasanak: morning greeting සුභ උදෑසනක්
subha dhawalak: daytime greeting සුභ දවාලක්
subha sandhavak: evening greeting සුභ සැන්දෑවක්
subha rathriyak: evening and nighttime greeting සුභ රාත්‍රියක්
sadarayen piligannawa: welcome greeting සාදරයෙන් පිලිගන්නවා
