Comparative and Superlative Degree in Turkish
You don't need to learn many rules if you want to make comparative or superlative degree of an adjective, it's very easy.
To make a Comparative Degree you need to add - DAn daha* (means more) to the adjective.
- For example: Kazakistan Türkiye'den daha büyük. - Kazakhstan is bigger than Turkey.
Tolga Burak'tan daha yakışıklı. - Tolga is more handsome than Burak.
- D can change to T and A can change to E. It depends on the last syllable and the last letter.
To make a Superlative Degree you need to put en (the most) before the adjective.
- For example: O, sınıfımızdaki en başarılı öğrenci. - She is the most successful student in our class.
Bu, hayatımın en mutlu günü! - This is the happiest day of my life!
