Interested in learning Chinese or just curious? Here are 5 good reasons to learn Chinese:

Learning an increasingly popular language on a CV

More and more companies are seeing a person practicing Chinese even at the advanced level as a bonus because trade with the country is growing at a crazy speed. And that probably will not stop. If you are able to speak Chinese at an intermediate level, you will be surprised by more than one during an interview.

Mastering an Assumed Difficult Language

By learning Chinese to reach an appreciable level, you will stick to many people for whom this language represents the complexity in its pure state. In French, we say "it's Chinese for me" (c'est du chinois pour moi)?

Improve faster than German or English

Oral Chinese is actually easier than another European language such as English, German or Spanish. The reason for this? Mandarin has no conjugations, declensions and other complicated grammar rules present in other languages. The written Chinese is certainly more difficult because the characters require an effort of memorization. But the system is now simpler thanks to the computer.

Understanding Difficult Aspects of Chinese Culture

If you are an enthusiast of Chinese or Asian culture, learning Chinese, without necessarily being bilingual, will give you the opportunity to understand things that seem strange or twisted, but that become logical when you know the language. Calligraphy, philosophy or the Chinese way of thinking are good examples.

Get access to what the majority of tourists miss in China

Of course it is not necessary to speak Chinese to make a journey into the middle empire, although it remains useful. However, when you master a minimum Chinese, you can order more different dishes at the restaurant, you can bargain your souvenir purchases without getting rushed or access to remote corners where no one speaks English. By speaking Chinese, you do not miss the best and you save money.

What about you? Do you find other reasons to learn the Chinese language? Please, leave a comment below :)
