Notes
- Love: Hindi has a good array of synonyms for love: pyār, muhabbat/mohabbat, ishk, prem. Yet, colloquially only pyār and (less so) muhabbat are used.
- Attractive: Say “sexy” instead of “attractive.” The word “sexy” made its major Indian entry in the 1990s, and it was quickly picked up for a silly film song with the title “ Merī Paiṇṭ Bhī Sexy ” (“Even My Pants Are Sexy”).
