* To ask a question in Arabic, you usually start with the question word, followed by the rest of the sentence.
# ماذا تُريدُ أَنْ تَأْكُلَ؟ (Mada turidu an ta'kul?) Translation: What do you want to eat?
* In Arabic, the verb usually comes before the subject.
# كَمْ عُمْرُكَ؟ (Kam omrouka?) Translation: How old are you?
 
# مَنْ يَعْمَلُ فِي زَوْجَتِكَ؟ (Man ya'malu fi zawjatika?) Translation: Who works in your wife's office?

* من هذا؟ (man hadha?) - Who is this?
* ماذا تفعل؟ (mādhā tafʻal?) - What are you doing?
* ما اللون الذي تفضله؟ (ma al-lawn alladhi tafḍaluhu?) - What color do you prefer?
