How to say "I love you" in Slovenian
Slovenian-Language-PolyglotClub.png

In today's lesson, you will learn how to say "I love you" in Slovenian.

Romantic relationship

If you say it to somebody you love, and I mean truly love, as in, you can’t imagine to live your life without them, and you’d die for them, then it’s simple and magical:

  • "Ljubim te".

Relatives and friends

If you say it to a relative, to a friend, to someone who is close to you but you haven’t any romantic relationship with, then it’s simple yet compassionate:

  • "Rad te imam”.

Formal

And if you say it to someone in a very formal way, like a client, or a patient, or someone you are in business relationship with and just feel the need to tell them how much you cherish the business relationship you have with them, then it’s simple:

  • "Rad vas imam"
