Grammar Lesson: How to use Negation in Macedonian
Hi Macedonian Learners! 😃
In today's lesson we will learn How to use Negation in Macedonian.
Happy learning!
In Macedonian, negation can be made simply by placing "Ne" before the main verb.
But sometimes a double negative is required. "Ne" is the most common negative.
- Не можам да го направам ова. (I can't do this).
- Тие немаат ништо да прават (they don't have anything to do – Double Negative).
- Не ми се допаѓа тоа (I don't like it)
Sometimes the negative can be made with the auxiliary verb “нема" (don’t have) or with negative words like:
- никој (nobody) or ништо (nothing).
