In today's lesson, we will learn the animal names in Portuguese.
- Brazil is home to many animal species like hummingbirds, toucans, parrots, macaws, waterfowl and birds of prey. Among the mammals you will find capybaras, sloths, monkeys, anteaters, cougars, jaguars, armadillos, otters and dolphins. Then there are the reptiles including caimans, turtles and anacondas.
- The fauna of Portugal is filled with mixed species from parts of Europe and North Africa. And many of Portugal's animals are common to the Iberian Peninsula.
