When you read a transliteration of a foreign text, you may find that they differ from one to another. This is because of different romanisations. Those different romanisations of a writing system may cause confusions for beginners of a non-Latin language, as they may assume there is only one way to romanise a language.
Here is a list of current romanisations of writing systems other than Latin.
