I wanna share with you the proverbs that have same meaning in persian and english as much as I know.
Hello everybody,
1_A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush (یک پرنده توی دستت بهتر از دو پرنده توی بوته هاس)
 
it is equivalent with:
In today's lesson, you will learn some proverbs in Persian.
سیلی نقد به از حلوایی نسیه(the cash slap is better than tick Halva(sugary cooky))

mār gazide az rismān-e siyah va sefid mitarsad
 
Once bitten, twice shy. [He who has been bitten by a snake, is (even) scared of a black-and-white rope.]
 
==هیچ ارزانی بی علّت نیست ==
hic arzāni bi e’lat nist
 
Nothing is cheap for no reason.
 
==دارندگی و برازندگی==
Money talks.
 
==حرف را باد می برد کتک را خر می خورد ==
Sticks and stones may break my bone,but words will never hurt me.
 
==از هول حلیم افتاده توی دیگ -->  از شدت شادی متوجه خطر نشدن==
